Your first view of this fabulous house is its huge covered terrace which offers a complete outdoor living room, several sitting areas, a hand-carved stone fireplace, dining area, and spectacular views of the North and South Shores of Lake Chapala and the mountains that surround the lake.

By day, the sun beams warmly on the water; the moon and stars twinkling overhead enhance your evening mood. Sip your favorite drink on the terrace, relax with a book on the sofa’s soft cushions and dine in gentle lakeside breezes while you enjoy the hand carved stone statuary on the lawn, the village lights below you, and the gentle tinkle of the property’s fountains, Flowers and mature plants enhance every vista, even in the winter months. The temperature ‘eternal springtime’ climate of the Lake Chapala area will make you sigh with delight.

Come inside to the large, luxurious and comfortably furnished indoor living room; two soft sofas and other comfortable seating will make your indoor time a joy. The attention to detail in the living room-from the art on the walls to the Oriental-style rugs on the floor- is the ultimate in opulence.

Relax in the two brand-new Lazy Boy recliners in the dome ceiling TV room; listen to your favorite music on the CD/Stereo system.

Four large indoor fireplaces- one in the living room and one in each bedroom- make your evenings romantic and cozy. Every bedroom has a large television set- 60- channel cable TV service is included in your rental cost.

The enormous crystal chandelier in the formal dining room will take your breath away. Art, views, and natural beauty are everywhere here, too. The dining room easily seats eight. There’s a wet bar (with its artful sliding glass door- wait till you see it!) between the dining room and the incredible gourmet chef’s kitchen.

When you like, you can prepare your meals in the fully equipped decorator/gourmet kitchen. The kitchen combines beauty with function. It has a new 26-cubic foot side-by-side refrigerator, a fantastic old Mexican desk, and a huge center island as well as a double sink, microwave oven, coffeemaker, pots and pans, a six-burner restaurant-quality range, oven, and separate broiler/salamander! Lots of windows and doors provide light, air, and incredible views, even while you’re cooking.

There’s no dishwasher, but regular maid service is included in the price of the rental. Tableware (dishes, glassware, and silver for eight people) is provided Everything you need except your favorites foods are provided for you in this gorgeous home’s kitchen. Clean, clear purified water is potable right from the tap.

Laundry services are available in Ajijic’s charming center. Drop off laundry and pick I up after a days’ fun in town.

You and your guests will LOVE the elegance, comfort, and décor of the master and guest bedrooms, each with its own luxuriously appointed (all linens furnished) FULL private bath complete with exquisite Mexican tiles. You’ll have king size beds and plenty of closet and dresser space. Original art fills the walls, and hundreds of decorator touches tell you that you are DEFINITELY on Mexican time. Privacy abounds: the master suite is up a short flight of stairs, quietly away from the rest of the house. The second and third bedrooms offer privacy to your special guests.

Outdorr garden nooks everywhere on the property are filled with hand carved stone sculptures, mature plants, four tinkling fountains, and three separate outdoor eating areas.

Just down a flight of stairs to the lower terrace, you’ll find the incredible 20 X 37 foot swimming pool, its waterfall and landscaping, and its huge covered terrace. The pool is approximately four feet deep, perfect for relaxing or swimming but not for diving. The pool terrace has yet another under-roof dining area, complete with gas barbecue grill, tiled counters, wet bar, and dinnerware. Two changing rooms (one for him and one for her) and an unisex bathroom at poolside give you and your guests the luxury of complete comfort.

There’s a two-car garage on the property fir your use. Video security and intercom let you know who’s coming to visit. Motion lights and other outdoor lighting assure your safe arrival home in the evenings.

Don’t lift a finger while you’re here: the fulltime gardener, pool maintenance, and regular maid service are *included* in the rental price. This is REAL pampering, and who deserves it more than you and your guests?
